Creative U Academy — Kajabi Branded Mobile App
Erica from Creative U Academy needed an app specialist. Her Apple app had been pulled from the App Store, and her Google app was never released.
The Kajabi Branded Mobile App is fully synced with the Kajabi backend. Members get every product they bought on the website, on the go, wherever they are.
The problem
Apple took the app down from the App Store, so members lost access
The Google app was stuck in testing and never went live on Google Play
Apple and Google used different app icons
The app store images were stock and didn't represent the brand

Found why Apple took the app down: the annual developer fee hadn't been paid
Got the app restored on the App Store within a few days
Google app
Found why the app was never released: Google's testing phase was never finished
Submitted the app through 3 rounds of testing, with updates each round
Got it approved and released on Google Play
Design
Unified the app icon across both platforms
Redesigned the 5 app store screens for Apple and Google using the brand's logo and colors
